A scarf from Italian silk, on the corners with a fringe collected from beads and stones, made in Dubai. Handwork.
For processing the cuts of the scarf, I chose the "Moscow seam".
Such processing on silk visually reduces thickness and bulk. Gives the product lightness and nobility. We have a coupon of silk fabric, the sections of which must be processed, by our chosen method.
With this treatment, you need to have an allowance of about 1 cm from the edge of the fabric.
We bend the seam allowance on the wrong side and lay a line 1 mm from the bend.
We cut the allowance. We make sure that the edge does not spill out.
Then we bend our trimmed seam to the wrong side and lay a line.
This look takes on the "Moscow seam" on the finished product.
