It turns out that people do not know how and cannot only what they have not tried!

Outside the gates of the main entrance to Sokolniki Park in Moscow, along the alley, ice sculptures meet you. Huge carved transparent hearts with flowers frozen inside. Despite the cold wind and dank weather, "And a smile, without a doubt, will suddenly touch your eyes! And a good mood will not leave you anymore!"

Walking along the alleys of the park, hurry to the IX International exhibition-sale "Formula of needlework". This exhibition and sale is held in Moscow 3 times a year - in the spring, autumn and before the New Year.

Within the framework of the exhibition, you can not only meet, talk and share experience with like-minded people, but also participate in interesting master classes, discover something interesting for yourself, and improve your skills. Get to know new types of creativity. Buy handmade products, as well as supplies for your favorite hobby.

Needlework is an inexhaustible source of inspiration; it is an immense country for revealing creative abilities and the ability to find a way to realize them. Touch the beautiful, in the literal sense of the word, and feel the warmth of the hands that create this beauty!

Almost everyone is passionate about a hobby - knitting, sewing, embroidery with thread, beadwork, painting on wood, fabric, glass, clay, patchwork, scrapbooking, decoupage, felting, color painting. All these types of creativity and much more was presented at the exhibition. Even the process of the tea ceremony, the secrets of making chocolate, the creation of wonderful cakes and cake decorations could be seen at the exhibition. And also purchase various devices for creating culinary masterpieces at home, books, recipes!

The journey through the exhibition began with a patchwork. My attitude to this type of needlework has always been calm. Shreds by shreds, but when I saw a patchwork-style portrait, I was speechless! AS?! The work is done on a large canvas. My head does not fit how much time, patience and labor spent on creating such a masterpiece. Bedspreads, drawings are all very beautiful. As part of a small master class, you can try your hand! Due to the simplicity of the cut and the availability of instructions, the fabrics presented are ready to create things in the style of patchwork.

The exhibition had a huge amount of embroidery work. Here are clothes and paintings embroidered with beads, cross-stitch. Extraordinary beauty of the work "draw with a needle."

The artist paints a picture. He sees what we do not see. Feels colors, shadows, proportions, mood. It takes a lot of time, and as a result, some moment or image of life freezes in a frame. So the paintings "draw with a needle" from afar look like painted on canvas. All shadows, color transitions, combinations - all this is done with a needle and thread! Incredibly beautiful.

Flowers Natural flowers. How do you want them to stand in a vase for a long, long time, not fade and delight with their tenderness, sophistication and beauty ALWAYS! It was this desire that spawned this type of needlework as floriculture. Flowers made of paper, made of felting using the technique of felting are not news for a long time. And every day, floriculture is gaining momentum, captivating with itself, forcing masters to improve, striking the impeccability and unearthly beauty of the colors they created.

Ceramic floristry and flowers made of polymer clay and sugar floristry have become a real discovery for me. Flowers from these materials look exceptionally vibrant, real. They are so realistic that you will not immediately understand that this is not a living flower. At the exhibition, they introduced the basics of the art of creating flowers and floristic compositions using special handmade techniques.Materials and tools for their manufacture can be purchased at a specialized store. And also sign up for master classes and training courses on these types of floristry.

Needlework is also a kind of magic that finds a way out in various fantasies. One of these fantasies is talented paints. Paints with a unique textured effect make it possible to give a unique look to products. The paint applied to the surface, for example, the lid of the box, draws itself! The effect appears immediately and is fixed in the drying process. To give completeness and shape, all the same lid of the casket, various resins are used - pearlescent, colored, voluminous, transparent. As a result, we see a volumetric lid, the surface of which with a unique pattern is hidden behind the resin. It turns out a certain effect of a mosquito frozen in resin, as from the Jurassic Park. Very nice! In the same way, various jewelry, such as bracelets, are created. The bases, interconnected, are first covered with "magic" paints, and then filled with resin. The resin can be used independently. Transparent resin imitates glass. Volumetric creates the effect of glaze, gives volume to flat surfaces, independently forms a rounded edge. Mother-of-pearl resins are not transparent, have an iridescent sheen, and make products expensive. Colored resins can be mixed and created in various shades. They are also transparent, like glass. Working only with resin, you can use ready-made silicone molds-blanks. For the rest, only your imagination is needed.

The exhibition featured many works of felted wool. Toys, clothes, hats, flowers, unusually beautiful slippers of different colors. And if you want to purchase.

A lot of knitted things, handmade.

A huge number of interesting souvenir and necessary products for needlework. Carved candles, hand-painted buttons and buttons, handmade lace, vintage lace and jewelry, materials for creating jewelry. Collectible Porcelain Thimbles!

Within the framework of the exhibition, the participants of the Formula Oriental Festival presented Peruvian, Iranian, Uzbek, Indian, Caucasian handicrafts, oriental incense. One stand made him stay longer near the rest. Unusual beauty paintings of Uzbek masters, painted with oil paints on sheep skin. Beautiful and creepy sight.

All four hours spent at the exhibition flew by like an instant. It was very interesting and informative. Not without, of course, without small purchases. Collectible porcelain thimble with a picture of a cat, several sets of wooden buttons with a painted print, silicone muffins for baking cupcakes, delicious chocolate with cherries and a children's set for creativity.
