A stylish bag-bag on a long chain, instead of the usual strap, will harmoniously fit into both everyday and evening look.
Bright accessory is a great gift for any holiday. To sew a bag-bag with your own hands, you can also use suitable rags of fabrics from past sewing projects.
You will need:
► blue decorative fabric;
► golden skin;
► cotton fabric with lining print;
► thread for sewing;
►lining materials: decking and flizofiks;
► blocks;
► Portnovsky crayon;
►portnovsky pins;
► thread for sewing;
► scissors;
► ruler;
► clothespins;
► ruler for patchwork;
► flat-nose pliers;
► chain link;
► centimeter tape;
► rubber mat;
►hammer
How to sew a leather pyramid bag
Step 1
Cut parts with allowances 1 cm wide:
Leather:
outer part (58 x 6 cm) - 1x;
bottom (18 x 14.5 cm) - 1x
From blue fabric:
main part (58 x 27) cm - 1 x
Cotton fabric:
bag lining (58 x 17 cm) - 1x;
bottom (18 x 14.5 cm) - 1x
Step 2
The leather part (58 x 6 cm) can be ironed with a flizofix to the front side along the lower cut of the main part of the bag (58 x 27 cm).
Step 3
Top cut leather part to hem.
Step 4
Stitch the lining of cotton fabric (58 x 17 cm) to the upper section of the main part of the decorative fabric with the front side to the front side at a distance of 1 cm.Iron seam allowances on the lining (cotton fabric) and stitch to the edge.
Step 5
Cut the bottom without allowances from the dekovil, iron to the bottom of the leather and stitch to the edge.

Step 6
Make a side seam (see next step).
Step 7
Leave an approx. Approx. 10 cm for eversion.
Step 8
Each bottom part (leather and cotton fabric) must be pinned / attached to the bag part with the front side to the front side.
Step 9
Stitch the bottom details. Cut the seam allowances to a width of 5 mm.
Step 10
Unscrew the bag through the hole in the lining seam (see step 7). Sew the open area of the seam.
DIY velvet belt bag
Step 11
Measure 5 cm from the top edge of the main part. According to the marking, bend by putting the lining of the bag in the bag. Iron the bend and stab. Put tag labels and set them.
Step 12
Through the blocks, thread the chain and fasten its ends with pliers.
