The white blouse leads its ancestry from the men's shirt, which in the old days was worn only by aristocrats and rich. She was one of the symbols of their special status: they say that only those who do not have to get their hands dirty with work can wear a white shirt. Initially, shirts were worn and removed over the head.Only in the 19th century did they find a button closure. At the same time, shirts are becoming increasingly popular among women and are called "blouses". What is the difference between a man’s shirt and a woman’s blouse? Male models fasten on the right side, female models on the left. This fact has its own explanation: rich women used to be dressed as maids, and it was more convenient for them to fasten their blouses in this way, and men, as a rule, dressed themselves.
Women elevated a white blouse to the category of cult models along with a small black dress.
