Elena Dobrovolskaya



Lena learned to sew as a child, but actively returned to needlework many years later, sitting with her daughter on maternity leave. Sewing her soothes, charges with positive energy.
The dress from the Ports 1961 brand turned out to be universal - it can also be worn to work with a knitted pullover, worn on vacation, and as an evening outfit, supplemented with appropriate accessories. The model remarkably corrects the figure, especially those with wide hips. For Lena, this dress was her most difficult work, but the result was worth it.
The vest turns out to be a very cool thing! Lena sewed it exactly as described in the magazine. For decoration, instead of buttons, I used Swarovsky crystals.

Marina Kuznetsova



Marina works at the bank, so all her images are different in office style. Marina sews on Burda patterns, but each time she brings something to her model, something that she likes: trendy materials, catwalk accents, elements of an unusual cut.
A striped skirt in which a fashionable print plays, combining horizontal and vertical stripes at the same time. That is why the choice of Marina fell on this wonderful model. Marina appreciates ease.A spacious oversize O-silhouette cardigan with one-piece sleeves, she was sewn from stitched fabric.

For the first time, Elena sat down at a sewing machine when she was 6 years old! She has known Burda since school; her mother bought her magazines, which are still carefully preserved. In addition to sewing, Elena is fond of sewing dolls, interior textiles, cross-stitch.

Maria is an architect by education. Sewing on Burda magazine began a year ago. This activity helps her relax and tidy up her thoughts.
Maria wears a boho dress as an evening dress, at exhibitions, concerts, as well as with various outerwear.

Antonina is a beginning seamstress. She sewed this set in the style of Family look specifically for participation in our competition. Women's vest and jacket for the son are made of felted wool, fabric is very comfortable in work. Pants in terracotta color jersey. Antonina sews only on Burda patterns.

Anna has been engaged in needlework since early childhood. Sewing is considered the most utilitarian kind of hobby. Of the items of clothing most attracted to dresses. Sewing for Maria has long been not just a hobby, it is a sacred part of life, with which so many amazing and truly fateful moments are associated.
This dress appeared in Maria’s wardrobe on the eve of rest, since she does not go on vacation without a new outfit. The fabric was bought for a specific model. Maria immediately liked the idea - to beat the top and bottom using different prints of the same coupon. Thanks to this dress, Maria with pleasure tried on herself the image of the “sixties”.

Natalya Egorkina



The dress on the pattern of model 129 from the magazine Burda 2/2015 interested Natalia with her geometric lines of cut and she sewed it from linen jacquard in pale blue.

Clothing in the style of Family look is the thread that even more strongly connects parents and children, creates a kind of aura in a family environment. For the family celebration, Marina sewed for her and her daughter elegant new items from metallic knitwear.
