At first glance, what can be difficult to create an image. But to convey the mood of a certain era, it is not enough to sew the appropriate outfit.
Participants of our contest "Hollywood diva" approached the creation of images of the "golden era of cinema" 30-50s. in all seriousness of the matter. Many managed to convey the style of that time and create the impression that their photos are real retro works.
The selection of winners was difficult but interesting. Each image with its own story is like a frozen frame from an old film with different characters and plots. The winners of the "Hollywood Diva" contest are:
1. Elena (NEBBIOLINA). Her royal dress did not leave anyone indifferent. This choice was unanimous. The image is so impeccable that any Hollywood diva would not deny herself the opportunity to walk in such a dress along the red carpet!
On her page, Elena said that she fell in love with this dress back in 1999, when she did not even think about what she would ever sew. Later, learning the tricks of sewing art, she could not decide to sew this dress - model 123 from Burda 4/1999.In the magazine, the dress is presented in silk chiffon. And this fabric is rather capricious and requires a delicate attitude. But! “That day has come, that hour has come ...” And here is a dress made of delicate mint chiffon in front of you. It turned out that working with capricious material is not so scary, and the pattern was not difficult and successful.
2. Paniksia created the image of Paula Negri - an actress of Polish descent and a sex symbol of the silent movie era. In Hollywood, she initially got the role of female vamps. But the interpretation of this role performed by Paula Negri was somewhat different from the classic vamp woman, rather it was a suffering vamp woman. This image perfectly conveys the work of PANIKRYSIA. The dress is made according to the 103 V model from Burda 12/2008. The bracelets are handmade from Swarowski rhinestone and Bohemian glass in black.
3. Natalya Kornaukhova. For her look, she chose a very successful model of dress No. 133 from Burda 5/2012 with a neckline that effectively falls from behind, opening a beautiful back - absolutely in the Hollywood style. The inspiration for creating the image was the car of 1937, which is still on the move and is in the gallery of Natalia.
4. Lesya Aletdinova (KEYGEN). The men's suit moved into a women's wardrobe with a light filing of Marlene Dietrich. She was the first to put on him, shocked the public in her own way and created a unique trend in fashion. Lesya did an excellent job of the task set by the competition - a tuxedo on her naked body, an appropriate headpiece, a fur cape and bright jewelry - it turned out to be a sexy and attractive image.
5. Olga Mashkova (MASHKOFFA) presented to the contest an image in the style of Bonnie and Clyde. This image is not popular because of the criminal past of these criminal superstars since the Great Depression. And thanks to their audacious media photos. The unique charm of young handsome Clyde and sexy Bonnie allowed them to gain much more fame than their entire criminal career. On the occasion of the wedding anniversary, Olga and her husband arranged a photo session in the style of Bonnie and Clyde - a beautiful and in love couple.
