Fur vest or fur on the neck?

I would not want to upset anyone, but the vests seem to be losing their advanced position in the segment of fur products. They gradually give way to all kinds of stoles, pelerines, boas & Co ...

FUR VEST
But of course, a sleeveless coat is still relevant, especially in street fashion. Although, short or long, a fur vest is more of a chic addition to the outfit than protection from Russian frost. But for warmer regions, it is very comfortable and convenient. And yet, in any country in the world, a fur vest with a super-popular thing in the wardrobe of fashionistas made, first of all, its glamorous look.
Voluminous fur vests will continue to be fashionable this winter. Shorter youth wear paired with a thin leather or fabric strap that focuses on the waist more than complete with a dress or coat. Elegant long elongated capes and vests with a length around the knee made of short-haired or long-haired fur are very relevant. But the most fashionable this season - long vests almost to the ankles, especially from fox or fox fur, especially when paired with long tight leather gloves. The latter option looks at the same time extravagant, aristocratic and chic. And long fur vests made of horizontal strips of fur can be complemented by a stitched wide fabric belt embroidered with rhinestones and sequins.

FUR SCARVES, DAPES, BOILERS, NECK
This is already an obligatory part of the “winter” image of 2013/2014.
In Russia, fur collars were usually worn in winter, sewn or fastened with a zipper to a winter coat or jacket. But not this season!
Today we will put on a collar, a boa, a scarf or a pelerine with anything - a pullover and a blouse, a suit with trousers and a skirt, with a dress, including an evening dress, with a coat of thin cashmere or printed silk and even with a topic with a bare back and corsage. And now it is fashionable to wear fur collars "back to front." And muzzle boas are worn over the shoulder so that the muzzle lies on the shoulder.
An annular strip of short-haired fur, lowered just below the shoulders, will completely change the silhouette. It is fashionable to tie a strip of fur, regardless of its width.
"Squeak of the season" - fur scarves combined with a thick knitted coat. Or very wide scarves made of llama fur, more reminiscent of fluffy Siberian shawls. Very long, rather narrow scarves made of fluffy fur, which are worn with careless throwing over the shoulder or running them along the floors of a long coat through the neck through the back, are super-practical. Boas are combined with lace or sheer tulle and chiffon. And they wrap themselves in fur stoles as if in a shawl when it gets cool in the office.
BETWEEN PALANTINE AND VEST
It is sometimes very difficult to draw a clear line between a fur vest and a fur coat, between a fur vest and a drape or stole. The easiest way to make a fashionable fur product on your own is to sew sleeves from a coat or pullover on a fur vest and supplement the resulting coat or jacket with the hem of the bottom and sleeves, and you can also make a collar from another suitable fur.
But there are more complex options: fur stoles sewn in several rows, for example, completely transform your winter short coat, coat or sheepskin coat. Or, for example, an ordinary (slightly already behind the fashion) fur vest can be supplemented with a short cape, reclining, or a stole from the same fur.
Yes, this season, designers delight us with unusual solutions to the "fur issue". Follow their example!
