In the autumn-winter season we can’t avoid the banal combinations: trousers and skirts with turtlenecks. I managed to revive one of these sets, adding an element of originality and pretentiousness to it.
I made maxi-format beads, which became the main emphasis in the image and connected two “boring” things together. I saw the jewelry design in one of the magazines. I slightly upgraded the beads. I offer you a master class and a description of the stages of embodying jewelry. For beads I used beads of 2 sizes: 50 beads with a diameter of 20 mm, 45 beads with a diameter of 14 mm. I also needed: an elastic mesh of arbitrary size, crochet threads, sewing threads.First step: I carved long strips of two sizes. For beads with a diameter of 20 mm - flat 5 cm wide, for another size of beads - strips 4 cm wide (this size is more convenient to sew on a sewing machine. The second step: I folded the strips in half and made seams on a typewriter, leaving 2 cm for the large beads from the fold of the fabric, for small beads 1.5 cm. I turned the resulting strips. Then, I began to collect the beads. I inserted beads into the pipes, stringing each one on a string (so to speak, reinforced), fixed each bead with a thread from the outer part of the mesh pipe. The number of beads in each pipe depends on the design of the beads.I made 5 tiers of beads: 3 tiers with a small diameter, 2 tiers with a large diameter of beads. At the ends of each pipe, I left a piece of fabric free to fix the beads at the triangles. At the next stage I got 4 triangles (I got it, because I can’t crochet. My girlfriend connected my triangles according to my sizes).
At the final stage, which turned out to be the most time-consuming, the assembly of beads began. I sewed pipes from fabric with beads into triangles. I fixed the triangles with hand stitches, then sewed them on a sewing machine. From the top corner of each triangle, I extended a cord of mesh fabric. Here, you can go further and crochet the cord, or make it out of the net. Beads are ready.
The first question my colleagues asked me was: Are they difficult? Do they pull the neck? Beads of medium severity, but do not pull the neck. There were moments in life when I could not wear a pair of necklaces around my neck, but this did not happen with these beads. I wore them all day, and my neck was not tired. During the fitting of my creations by colleagues, I noted that the jewelry looks equally good on black, red and yellow clothes.
